- Lead the strategic development, implementation and ongoing improvement of Outdoor Learning across Robin's Way School, ensuring it becomes a valued and embedded aspect of the school's curriculum and culture.
- Design, deliver and regularly evaluate a progressive outdoor learning curriculum that meets the needs of pupils and supports their personal, social and emotional development.
- Plan and facilitate high-quality outdoor learning experiences on a daily basis, both on and off site, providing engaging opportunities for pupils to learn through exploration, challenge and real-world experiences.
- Coordinate the organisation of educational visits, including transport, staffing and logistical arrangements, working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure safe and effective delivery.
- Ensure all outdoor learning activities and educational visits are fully compliant with OEAP guidance, statutory requirements and school policies and procedures.
- Use outdoor learning as a vehicle to develop pupils' resilience, emotional regulation, confidence, independence, teamwork, communication and wider life skills.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with outdoor education providers, community groups, local organisations and other stakeholders to enhance learning opportunities for pupils.
