Painting & Decorating Improver / Decorators Mate

£130–£160 per day depending on experience

Liddard Decorators Ltd are looking for a reliable Painting & Decorating Improver / Decorators Mate to join our growing team on a self-employed basis.

We carry out large residential block, planned maintenance and commercial decorating projects across North London, Hertfordshire and Essex. Current projects include large-scale external redecoration works to occupied residential blocks and communal areas.

This is not a general labouring role. We are looking for someone who has some decorating experience and understands the importance of preparation work, attention to detail and site organisation.

Duties Include

Filling and making good
Sanding and preparation works
Caulking and sealing
Scraping and removing defective coatings
Masking and protection
Sheeting up work areas
Assisting decorators on external redecoration projects
Material handling and site organisation
General decorating support

Requirements

CSCS Card (essential)
UTR Number
Own transport preferred
Comfortable working at height
Reliable and professional attitude
Good attention to detail
Previous decorating experience
