As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our Business Development Team, working closely with our Sales Manager and Customer Accounts Manager.

Your Role: What You'll Be Doing
As a Sales Assistant, you'll provide vital administrative and operational support across the sales journey while playing a key role in preparing quotations for our Maintenance Department. This position is ideal for someone with previous engineering experience who is organised, proactive, and eager to develop their career in sales support and customer account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate quotations for maintenance works, repairs, and service agreements.
- Follow up with clients regarding outstanding quotations and proposed works.
- Assist in processing and tracking sales orders through to completion.
- Provide administrative support to the sales, engineering, and installation teams.
- Maintain accurate internal records and documentation.
- Handle customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless progression from quotation to installation.
- Assist in the management of Key Accounts and Sub-Contractors.
- Liaise with engineers and operational teams to ensure quotations accurately reflect the scope of work required.
- Support the Business Development Team in identifying opportunities for additional services and contract renewals.

Who We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Previous engineering experience.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to interpret technical information and translate it into accurate customer quotations.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to work.
- Strong IT and administrative skills.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in administration, sales support, estimating, or quotation preparation.
- Experience working within wastewater, mechanical, electrical, construction, or related engineering sectors.
- Customer service experience.
