Number of Positions: 1
Qualifications Required: Relevant EYFS Qualification eg NVQ Level 2 in Childcare and Education/Early Years Care and Education/NNEB Certificate/NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or Equivalent.
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Salary: £26,403 - £27,694 per annum

The Governing Board wish to appoint a dedicated and hardworking Teaching Assistant for our Reception Class, to start on Tuesday 1st September 2026.

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will be a strong team player, who is passionate and motivated about children's learning and will be committed to the positive ethos of the school.

You will have:

Evidence of good/outstanding practice in a school-based Nursery and/or Reception class.
Have knowledge and experience working with the EYFS Framework.
Experience of delivering phonics.
A compassionate and caring approach to working with children, parents and colleagues.
The ability to work as part of a team.
A commitment to nurturing success in every child.
The ability to use your initiative to improve the quality of provision further.
Excellent time management, organisation and ICT skills to support your role and effectiveness.
