Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hard Landscape Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with a variety of landscape and construction projects, focusing on the maintenance and creation of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in garden/Landscaping construction, with the ability to work efficiently in outdoor environments. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in landscape maintenance

Responsibilities

Assisting with landscape maintenance tasks including planting
Operating hand tools such as spades, rakes, and shovels to support various project needs
Using power tools and machinery including excavators and irrigation systems for installation and maintenance
Supporting construction activities such as laying paving, walling, and groundwork preparation,turfing
Maintaining equipment and ensuring tools are clean and functional
Assisting with site clearance, debris removal, and general tidying of work areas
Supporting team members in executing landscape designs and project plans efficiently

Requirements

Previous experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is helpful but not essential
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labour for extended periods
Strong team player with good communication skills
A valid <PERSON> (if applicable) or relevant safety certifications are preferred but not mandatory
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
