Skilled Labourer / Grounds Person
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Skilled Labourer / Grounds Person to join our growing company. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the construction industry and the ability to deliver high-quality work across a variety of projects.
This role involves working on residential, commercial, and industrial sites, with experience in building maintenance considered an advantage. You will be expected to work independently, use your initiative, and make informed decisions, while also working effectively as part of a team. Maintaining a safe, professional, and well-organised working environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of general construction and skilled labouring tasks to a high standard.
- Assist with building maintenance and repair work as required.
- Work across residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects.
- Work efficiently within live manufacturing environments, minimising disruption to operations.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment at all times.
- Comply with all health and safety procedures, company policies, and site regulations.
- Use initiative to solve problems and make sound decisions on site.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and site management.
Essential Requirements
- Proven background in the construction industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use initiative and make decisions when required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Valid CSR Card.
Desirable Qualifications
- IPAF certification.
- PASMA certification.
- Telehandler or plant operator cards.
- Any additional relevant trade qualifications or health and safety training.
- Experience or working knowledge of landscaping and grounds maintenance would be an advantage.
