We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Butcher / Butchery Assistant to join our busy production team. This is a full-time position involving a variety of shifts between Monday and Sunday. You will play a key role in preparing high-quality meat products for our retail counter and supplying 10 stores across the Mid-Ulster area.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and portioning meats to a high standard
- Packaging and labelling products accurately
- Ensuring proper stock rotation and stock control
- Assisting with order preparation and management
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in a butchery environment is desirable but not essential
- A keen interest in butchery and food production
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills (full training provided)
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
