Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our bustling establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service, ensuring food safety compliance, and leading a motivated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills to contribute to a vibrant dining environment. The position is paid and requires a proactive individual capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen operations
Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure excellent service delivery
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulatory requirements
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper food production procedures are followed
Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing complaints promptly and effectively
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality standards are met
Implement operational policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and profitability
Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures
Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production
Experience in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving, barista work, and general hospitality services
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Effective communication skills to liaise with staff, suppliers, and customers
Knowledge of kitchen experience and hotel industry standards is advantageous
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
