Full job description

Holiday Inn Express Bodmin - Victoria Junction is a 71 bedroom hotel, located at Cornwall Services in Roche.

We have 2 meeting rooms and serve a complimentary breakfast with selected hot items to all of our guests. During the daytime, we serve a limited menu and, in the evening a more substantial offering for our guests.

The hotel is the first Holiday Inn Express in Cornwall and is built to the latest Generation 4 design standards for the brand. We are currently recruiting a full-time Guest Services Assistant to join our front-of-house team.

Hospitality Allrounder Required

We are looking for an all-around Guest Services Assistant. You'll need to be confident, articulate, computer literate and passionate about delivering True Hospitality to our guests.

This is a fun, full-time role, with some supervision responsibilities, you'll be working approximately 35-40 hours a week including some weekend shifts.

Due to our location at Cornwall Services, and the working hours you will need your own transport.

Your day-to-day

As Guest Services Assistant, you will work with the wider hotel Front Desk and F&B team to ensure our guests have the perfect stay.
You will be friendly, welcoming, make the guests feel at home delight in making sure they have a fantastic start to their day
You will be passionate about our brand, and love what we do for our guests.
You will look professional, be punctual, polite, courteous and helpful to guests and fellow team members at all times
You will be fully conversant with the facilities, services and promotions offered by the hotel and the local area and whenever appropriate, share this knowledge with our guests
You will be confident in company policies and food safety procedures and ensure these are followed at all times

We are looking for someone who:

Works well under pressure in a busy environment
Can manage their time and multitask well
Is a team player and has a "can-do" attitude
Works well as part of a team
