Customer Relations & Administrative Assistant

Part-Time | Bakery & E-Commerce Operations

We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Customer Relations & Administrative Assistant to join our growing bakery team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our store and online operations. This is an admin based role.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing customer communications, coordinating bespoke celebration cake orders, and overseeing e-commerce operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and bring a proactive and professional approach to customer care.

Key Responsibilities

Manage bespoke cake orders by gathering customer requirements, preparing quotations, and liaising with the baking team
Respond to customer enquiries via email, Instagram, and other communication channels in a professional and timely manner
Oversee e-shop operations, including order processing, coordination of packing, and customer updates
Maintain accurate customer and order records, ensuring all details are processed efficiently
Support smooth daily administrative and operational processes within the bakery

Requirements

Previous experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or bakery environments preferred
Proven experience managing e-commerce or online shop operations is essential
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and orders simultaneously
Confident using e-commerce platforms and general computer systems
Friendly, professional, and customer-oriented approach
Flexibility to work weekends and busy seasonal periods, including weddings and holidays
