We are looking for a keen, enthusiastic hard worker to join our Team at Massey Harpers - a leading family owned supplier ofquality farming and country products.
This is a permanent position, 40 hours a week Monday to Friday, and some
Saturdays on a rota basis, working as part of a friendly, hard-working team whose aim is to build our growing business and to deliver the highest possible level of customer service to our customers.
Duties will involve:
- To ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods onto vehicles
- To maintain and ensure efficient communication lines are kept between suppliers, customers and staff
- Managing stock in a busy warehouse and yard display area
- To ensure stock and operations run efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- To provide advice and support to customers
- Some delivering on farm & working at our external storage site
What we are looking for:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good numeracy and literacy skills at secondary education level
- Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a dedicated team
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines when required
- Must be able to take instruction & work to high quality standards
- Physically fit to undertake manual handling work
- Background in agriculture or warehouse work is desirable, along with Forklift/handler experience but training will be provided
