About Us
Alfilo Ltd is a London specialist arts & museum consultancy bridging UK national museums and Chinese cultural consumer markets. Our core services cover museum IP licensing, cross-border touring exhibitions, cultural merchandise development, NFT & digital asset management and curated VIP art delegation tours for Chinese collectors and cultural institutions. We are scaling our permanent local team to deliver sustained cross-cultural creative projects. This role is an upgraded senior marketing position based on the original Marketing Assistant hiring plan set out in our official business plan.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build and deliver bilingual cross-cultural marketing campaigns for museum IP, digital art collections and Sino-UK art exchange events across LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Xiaohongshu and Facebook
2. Create English-Chinese marketing copy, short video scripts, graphic briefs, case studies and digital exhibition promotional materials
3. Manage all brand social media accounts, track engagement KPIs and produce monthly performance & market insight reports
4. Support art fair attendance, museum networking events and Chinese delegate tour marketing logistics
5. Collaborate with client liaison and project teams to maintain website content, virtual exhibition previews and client portfolio materials
6. Conduct ongoing market research on UK museum digital commercial trends and Chinese cultural creative consumer demand
Essential Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Art History, Cultural Studies, Digital Media or related creative discipline
2. Minimum 2 years full-time marketing experience within museums, galleries, cultural consultancies or cross-cultural communications agencies
3. Proven track record managing multi-platform social media channels and end-to-end content campaign delivery
4. Fluent professional written & spoken English; conversational Mandarin is a strong desirable advantage
5. Confident using Canva, CapCut, Google Analytics and social media native insight dashboards
6. Strong project organisation, deadline management and client-facing communication skills
7. Full working knowledge of GDPR compliance for cultural marketing and visitor data
Desirable Criteria
- Existing working experience with UK national museum commercial licensing teams
- Experience creating short-form visual content for Chinese domestic social ecosystems
- Familiarity with NFT, digital art and virtual exhibition marketing trends in the heritage sector
