Aftersales Advisor

The Role
We are looking for a motivated Aftersales Advisor to plan and coordinate workshop activity, maximise efficiency and profitability, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

· Proven experience in a Sales or Service role

· Excellent communication, administrative, and organisational skills

· Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision

· Excellent customer service and people skills

Desirable:

· Previous experience in a dealer Aftersales department

· Knowledge of automotive parts, warranties, or manufacturer service processes

Key Responsibilities

· Build rapport with customers, understand their service and repair needs, guide them to suitable solutions, and promote additional products or services to achieve KPIs

· Provide accurate service and repair estimates, schedule work to meet customer requirements, and introduce customers to technicians when appropriate

· Promote genuine parts, accessories, and additional services, manage vehicle collection/delivery or loan cars, and ensure complete customer satisfaction

· Liaise with Aftersales to order parts, notify customers of arrivals, and schedule work efficiently to minimise stockholding and WIP

· Prepare job cards, brief technicians, coordinate valeting and sublet work, and organise vehicle collection and delivery

· Update customer records, maintain accurate service history, and assess warranty claims in line with manufacturer requirements

· Keep customers informed on workshop progress, agree additional costs, manage expectations, and ensure smooth vehicle handover

· Invoice customers, follow up on services to ensure satisfaction, and proactively manage outstanding payments
