About you
Ideally, we would like candidates to have the following criteria:
· Senior ATA or NVQ Level 3 Qualification in MET (not all essential as training will be provided)
· Previous experience with the industry
· Conduct work in accordance with manufacturers specification/ Thatcham methods
· Ability to work in a controlled structure
· Team player
· Strong Work ethic
· You must ensure all work is carried out to a high standard first time
· Working from a job card and understanding processes
· Diagnostics understanding
Core duties and responsibilities.
· As an MET Technician you will strip and rebuild the Mechanical, Electrical and Trim components of a customer’s vehicle
· Ensure the necessary methods have been followed for each repair
· If dealing with Electric Vehicles if qualified follow the safety guild lines.
· Collaborate closely with fellow technicians, Vehicle Damage Assessors, workshop controller to ensure all work is conducted to manufacturer specifications
· Adhere to company policies guidelines and health and safety regulations
· Embrace training and development to enhance and improve knowledge and skill set to further your career
Working Hours
Standard business hours are 8am – 5.00 pm Monday – Friday - Flexible working hours available.
The role will be based on a 40-hour contract, with overtime available.
Salary
Starting Salary £40K to £46K plus Weekly Attended Bonus, Monthly Efficiency Sales Bonus giving an OTE of £55K
