Full job description

Job Summary
We are looking to recruit an Internal Technical Consultant to support the management of new instructions of our insurance-led structural repair projects.

This is a fast-paced, client-facing role where you will play a key part in managing new instructions, coordinating the external technical team, and maintaining strong relationships with insurers and loss adjusters.

Duties

Manage the triage and allocation of new enquiries across the technical team, ensuring instructions are effectively prioritised and progressed in line with client expectations.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication, building strong relationships, and ensuring a positive service experience throughout the lifecycle of each claim
Oversee claims from instruction through to authorisation, taking ownership of progress and ensuring a smooth, consistent journey through all stages
Monitor and manage WIP, proactively identifying delays or risks and ensuring SLAs and response times are consistently met
Prepare and issue quotations, with a focus on accuracy and commercial awareness, and actively follow up to support conversion to authorised works
Coordinate with internal teams to schedule visits efficiently, supporting effective diary management and overall workflow
Ensure all claim information is accurately maintained within internal systems to support reporting, visibility, and decision-making

Experience

Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of enquiries
Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with clients and internal teams
Detail-oriented with good commercial awareness
Experience within insurance claims is beneficial, but not essential

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Rugby CV23 9JF
