Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students' academic and personal development. This role offers an opportunity to inspire learners across various age groups and subject areas, with a focus on nurturing their skills in areas such as mathematics, creative writing, and special education needs. The Teacher will play a vital role in shaping students' futures through effective mentoring, communication, and behaviour management.

Duties

Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans tailored to diverse student needs, including special education requirements.
Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
Assess student progress regularly through assignments, tests, and informal evaluations; provide constructive feedback.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a respectful and productive atmosphere.
Mentor students by providing guidance on academic pursuits and personal development.
Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum enhancements and organise extracurricular activities like creative writing clubs or journalism projects.
Utilise organisational skills to keep accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavioural reports.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavioural concerns.
Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and innovative teaching methods.

Qualifications

Proven experience in teaching or tutoring across various subjects
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
Knowledge of behaviour management strategies to foster a positive classroom environment.
Organisational skills necessary for lesson planning, record keeping, and coordinating activities.
Ability to proofread and edit student work for clarity and accuracy is advantageous.
A recognised teaching qualification or relevant educational background is preferred but not mandatory.
