We are looking for proactive and confident individuals to join our Student Solutions Centre (SSC) as a Student Centre Assistant (Finance). The Student Solutions Centre operates in a busy, student-facing environment and staff are expected to work collaboratively on site to assist service delivery, peak periods and operational priorities.
The post-holder will be part of the Student Life team based within Aston’s Student Solutions Centre (SSC). This is a hybrid role, with the majority of working time expected to be on campus to support frontline student services and ensure consistent face-to-face assistance for students.
Working closely with the Finance Operations team, particularly Accounts Receivable (AR), the role will provide high-quality frontline support and guidance to students on tuition fee payments, instalment plans, sanctions, sponsorship, refunds and student finance-related queries. The post-holder will play a key role in ensuring students receive timely, accurate and supportive advice, while appropriately escalating more complex financial matters when required.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in student services, finance operations, customer service or higher education administration environment. The role would particularly suit recent graduates or individuals looking to develop valuable professional experience in a fast-paced student-facing role.

Experience in customer service, finance administration, finance support or student services is welcomed
