About the Role
Join the dynamic and ambitious sports department at Hazelwick School as a Sports Intern and gain invaluable hands-on experience in a thriving school.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, responsible and committed individual to support the delivery of PE and co-curricular sport across the school, playing a key role in inspiring and developing young athletes.
This exciting opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate considering a future career in teaching, coaching, sport development, sports science, physical education or school sport or a qualified PE teacher seeking experience. Successful candidates will immerse themselves in all aspects of school sport, from setting up and supporting PE lessons to helping coach teams, assisting with fixtures, tournaments and sporting events, and contributing to the wider co-curricular life of the school.
Sports Interns will work closely with experienced staff in a fast-paced and supportive environment, helping to deliver a thriving sports programme that includes rugby, football, hockey, netball, athletics, basketball and cricket, alongside strength and conditioning.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop coaching and leadership skills, gain practical experience in a high-performing school environment and make a lasting impact on students. Above all, we are looking for a positive role model who is passionate about sport and eager to contribute fully to Hazelwick School.

Salary: £17,969 per annum (inclusive of Crawley Market Supplement)
Contract Type: Fixed term for one year
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, term time only. Working hours to be agreed but will be worked between 8.15am and 3.00pm.
