We’re looking for a Press Brake Operator to join a growing manufacturing team where work is planned properly, quality matters and operators aren’t expected to firefight all day.
This is a hands-on shop floor role focused on operating; not overloaded with unrealistic expectations.

If you bring additional skills, we’re open to paying more.
Training and support are available for the right person.
What you’ll be doing
- Operating press brake machinery to drawings and specification
- Setting up tooling and adjusting machine settings for accurate bends
- Checking finished components for quality and tolerance
- Carrying out basic machine checks and routine maintenance
- Working with the team to hit realistic production targets
- Keeping your area clean, safe, and organised
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Press brake or sheet metal / fabrication experience
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Good mechanical understanding
- Reliable, punctual, and quality-focused
Desirable (not required)
- Programming or setter experience
- Experience across multiple machines
- Inspection / quality experience
Pay & benefits
- From £14.00–£17.00 per hour DOE (higher rates available for additional skills)
- Full-time, permanent role
- Monday–Thursday working (long weekend and optional overtime)
