EXPERIENCE IN CAR TRANSPORT OR RECOVERY IS ESSENTIAL!!!!
Due to expansion Falkirk Car Carriers are looking for an experienced car transport driver to join the team. The job involves delivering vehicles to both private home addresses and dealerships/auctions on a 7 car Voyager trailer.
Licence requirements:
Class 1 licence required.
Valid CPC Card
Minimum of 2 years driving experience.
Hours:
Monday - Friday with the occasional Saturday required
4 nights out per week
Occasional local work with nights at home available
Pay:
£18 per hour for the first 40 hours
£21 per hour over time
£30 per hour for a Saturday
£26.20 overnight allowance
£500 monthly reward available
All parking paid for.
Holidays:
35 days (7 WEEKS) holiday per year with average holiday pay.

Summary
As a Car Transporter Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of vehicles to various locations. Reporting to the Transport Manager, your role is vital in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all driving regulations. With core skills in driving and premium skills in commercial driving, you will leverage your experience as a delivery driver and your mechanical knowledge to navigate challenges on the road. Strong communication skills will enhance your ability to coordinate effectively with team members and customers, making you an essential part of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive vehicles safely to transport cars to designated locations.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to assess vehicle condition and report any mechanical issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and updates.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
- Operate the truck/trailer for safe loading and unloading of vehicles.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £59,000.00-£64,000.00 per year
