How you’ll power our business as a Transport Supervisor

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Transport Supervisor. Reporting to the Site Manager, you’ll support within the Key Functions of the Knowsley operation of bulk & cylinder LPG deliveries via a fleet of assorted sized vehicles. Including the control and supervision of drivers based at the facility. You will ensure the safe running and effective management of the vehicle fleet and meet the deliveries focused on our domestic and commercial customers.

Here at Flogas, we may have a fossil fuels background, but we’re working towards delivering 100% renewable energy to our customers by 2040. We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. We’re also developing our offering for technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels, beginning to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and evolving new bio-fuels and renewable gases. What we’ll need from you

Strong communication of DVSA compliance including tachograph analysis and maintenance schedulingWorking knowledge of working time directive and drivers’ hours rulesAbility to conduct drivers debriefs, monitor CPC compliance and support trainingWorking knowledge of working time directive and drivers’ hours rulesAbility to conduct drivers debriefs, monitor CPC compliance and support training
Hold a full driving licence.

Must be flexible and willing to work additional hours.

Ability to work in a team or on own initiative.
