Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-Time Bar Assistant with previous work experience to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, maintaining high standards and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. This role offers flexible hours. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting bar operations, serving drinks, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of shifts
- Support team members in delivering exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Experience in serving drinks and handling cash transactions is beneficial
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
