Robert Timmons Furniture Ltd is a bespoke furniture manufacturer specialising in the design and production of high-end kitchens and fitted furniture for the luxury residential market.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to join our skilled production team.
About the Role
You will be involved in the manufacture of bespoke kitchens and fitted furniture using a wide range of premium materials and finishes, including:
- Veneers
- Solid timber
- Brass
- Acrylics
- Matt, satin and high-gloss lacquered finishes
The role is primarily workshop-based, although there may be occasional opportunities to assist our installation teams on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing bespoke kitchens and fitted furniture to a high standard
- Reading and interpreting CAD drawings
- Working accurately with a variety of materials and finishes
- Receiving and despatching goods, including board materials, appliances and hardware
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment
- Assisting with site installations when required
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in cabinet making, furniture making or bench joinery
- Ability to read and manufacture from CAD drawings
- Experience working with a variety of materials and finishes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Good command of the English language
- Positive attitude and ability to work alone as well as part of a small team
Desirable Skills
- CNC machining experience
- Spray lacquering experience
- Furniture installation experience
- Forklift licence (training can be provided if required)
