We are seeking a professional and reliable Bus Driver to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to passenger safety. This role involves transporting workers to and from shifts at various Kettle sites.
Responsibilities
Safely operate buses on scheduled routes, ensuring timely arrival and departure
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and roadworthiness
Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents or issues encountered during shifts
Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers, delivering clear information about routes or delays
Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the bus interior and exterior
Experience
Proven experience as a bus driver, with passenger transport roles
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record, in date CPC and digital tacho card
Experience in vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting is advantageous
Familiarity with route planning, navigation tools, and traffic regulations
