Doe Sport North Ltd are one of the UK's leading sport facility contractors, specialising in the design, construction and maintenance of synthetic sports pitches, tennis courts, Multi-use games areas and Padel courts.
Doe Sport North Ltd are looking for skilled, experienced groundworkers to service our expanding sports construction projects in Scotland. This role would suit an experienced civils groundworker proficient in general earthworks, drainage, sub-base construction, fencing, working with asphalt among other elements. Range of clients which include sports clubs, local authority's and private customers.
Our head office is based in Methil, Fife and we are well placed to meet the demanding needs of the sports construction industry.
Working environment
- Based out of our Methil office.
- Sites are nationwide so travel and working away from home may be required.
- This is an outdoor based role.
- Exposure to all weather conditions, traffic conditions, and hazards connected construction industry in general.
- Contact with the public.
- The post requires ability to work professional manner and as part of a team.
- Involves manual work.
- Involves operation of mechanical plant.
Your duties will include:
- Construction and civils works in relation to the construction of new sports facilities
- Responsible for setting out and managing your own works
- On site H&S responsibility
- Managing delivery calls of and liaising with buying department
You will need:
- Full driving License
- CSCS card and general CPCS or NPORS qualifications.
- SSSTS
- SMSTS ticket beneficial but not essential
- experience in general groundworks is essential
- Experience in setting out and general understanding of levels and grades
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: TBC dependant on experience, skills and leadership experience
Schedule:
- Standard 40hr working week plus overtime opportunities available

- 10 years experience in groundworks or civils preferred
- fencing experience preferred but not essential
- has experience with leadership responsibilities within a civils squad
