Whitekirk Hill is looking for a warm, professional and confident Spa Therapist to join our resort team.
We are a family-owned holiday resort near North Berwick, with luxury lodges, leisure facilities, café, play barn and spa/wellness services. Our guests are often here to relax, celebrate, recharge or enjoy a break away, so the spa experience is an important part of what makes their stay feel special.
This role would suit a qualified therapist who takes pride in high standards, enjoys looking after guests properly, and wants to work in a calm, guest-focused resort environment.
What you’ll be doing:
You will be delivering professional spa and beauty treatments to resort guests, local members and day visitors.
Your duties will include:
Preparing treatment rooms to a high standard before and after each guest.
Carrying out treatments such as massage, facials, body treatments and other services from our treatment menu.
Completing guest consultations and providing appropriate aftercare advice.
Creating a calm, professional and welcoming experience for every guest.
Supporting spa packages, seasonal treatments and special promotions.
Keeping treatment rooms, products, linen and equipment clean, organised and guest-ready.
Working closely with reception, leisure and the wider resort team to deliver a smooth guest journey.
Helping us continue to develop a spa and wellness offer that feels special, memorable and true to Whitekirk Hill.
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for someone who is professional, reliable and guest-focused.
You should have:
A recognised qualification in beauty therapy, spa therapy or massage therapy, ideally Level 3 or equivalent.
Confidence delivering professional massage and spa treatments.
A calm, friendly and caring manner with guests.
Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Availability to work some weekends and busy resort periods.
Reliable transport or the ability to travel to Whitekirk Hill for shifts.
Previous experience in a spa, hotel, salon, leisure club or resort environment would be helpful, but the right attitude, treatment standards and guest care are just as important.

About you:
You may already be working as a Spa Therapist, Beauty Therapist, Massage Therapist or Holistic Therapist. You may also be newly qualified and ready to build your confidence in a professional resort setting.
