- The hourly rate for this role is £8.00 for those aged 16 to 18, £10.85 for those aged 18 to 20, and £12.71 for those aged 21 and over. Based on 40 hour per week, this equates to respective annual salaries of £16,640.00, £22,568.00, and £26,436.80.
- Paid monthly in arrears on the last day of the month.

- We are a SEPA registered waste management and recycling company operating from purpose-built facilities in Kirkcaldy. Our objective is to improve the local environment by helping local commercial organisations achieve their environmental objectives by efficiently diverting as much waste as possible from landfill and by maximising recycling opportunities.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Recycling Operatives to join our existing team. As a Recycling Operative, you will play a vital role in helping to protect the environment by manually sorting and processing various waste grades and recyclable materials. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and mechanical knowledge.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sort and separate various waste grades and recyclable materials.
- Operate machinery and equipment to process recyclable materials.
- Ensure that materials are properly sorted and prepared for recycling.
- Monitor the recycling process to ensure efficiency and quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labour on a daily basis.
- Attention to detail to sort and separate various waste grades and materials.
