Full job description

SGD Management is looking for a part time reliable and adaptable Warehouse Operative to join our busy Hermiston warehouse. This is a key, hands-on role supporting the smooth flow of stock across the business, with opportunities to work across multiple warehouse functions.

If you’re practical, detail-focused, and enjoy being part of a fast-moving team, this role offers stability, variety, and the chance to build strong operational skills.

Saturday & Sunday shifts

Key Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operative, you will work across different areas of the warehouse as required, including:

Storing, rotating, and replenishing stock
Picking, packing, and labelling orders to required standards
Completing paperwork and system documentation accurately
Supporting stock takes and reporting damaged or missing stock
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Reporting mechanical issues, equipment faults, or maintenance needs
Working collaboratively to meet daily operational targets
Assisting with additional warehouse duties during peak periods

What We’re Looking For

Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
A reliable, hardworking, and flexible approach to work
Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Good English reading, writing, and comprehension skills
Willingness to learn and work across different warehouse functions
