Full job description

We are a growing electrical company based in Pontypool, Torfaen, specialising in domestic, commercial and industrial electrical installations. We are also certified with a focus on high-end, premium smart home installations.

We are looking for motivated electricians to join our growing team. This role is open to newly qualified electricians, apprentices nearing completion of their qualifications, and experienced electricians looking for long-term career progression.

Duties Include:

Complete full domestic rewires as part of a team
Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment
Carry out electrical installations for new build and renovation projects
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults
Replace or repair faulty electrical components
Work in line with current electrical regulations and safety standards
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard
Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
Assist with smart home, networking and automation installations where required

Experience & Requirements:

Newly qualified electricians encouraged to apply
Apprentices nearing completion of qualifications welcome to apply
Domestic electrical installation experience preferred
Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams
Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills
Proficient with hand tools and power tools
Familiarity with Welsh Housing Quality Standards beneficial
Experience with Wi-Fi networks, CCTV and security systems beneficial
Interest in smart home technology and premium installations advantageous
