Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber/Bathroom Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in diverse environments. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with practical skills in plumbing and related trades to develop their careers within a professional setting.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with safety standards and building codes
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialised tools to complete tasks effectively
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues before they escalate
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for installations or repairs
Apply basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning
Assist with carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations or modifications
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during work activities
Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of tools and materials when necessary

Qualifications

Proven experience in plumbing or related trades such as carpentry or mechanical work
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing systems and installation procedures
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles or lorries preferred
Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations applicable to plumbing work
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
