Full job description

Job Summary:
TNA Bros Wholesale is seeking an experienced Butcher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing meat products to customer specifications for takeaway, restaurant, and foodservice clients. The role also includes delivery duties and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean, prepare, and debone mutton carcasses according to company and customer specifications.
Cut and portion chicken products to required specifications.
Prepare and process red meat and poultry products for foodservice, takeaway, and restaurant customers.
Ensure all meat products meet quality, presentation, and food safety standards.
Load, transport, and deliver products to customers using a company van.
Verify delivery orders and ensure customers receive the correct products.
Maintain positive customer relationships and address any delivery-related queries.
Ensure all products are handled, stored, and transported in compliance with food hygiene regulations.
Assist with stock management and quality checks where required.
Clean work areas, tools, machinery, and equipment thoroughly at the end of each shift.
Follow all health and safety procedures within the workplace.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a butcher, including deboning and meat preparation.
Ability to prepare mutton, beef, lamb, poultry, and other meat products to precise specifications.
Full UK driving licence.
Aged 25 or over (for company vehicle insurance requirements).
Good understanding of food hygiene and food safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced wholesale environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.

Pay: £12.70-£13.00 per hour
