Whether working in our factory or on-site, our team delivers exquisite craftsmanship using MDF, veneers, hardwoods, and metal components.
The Role
We are looking for a skilled, experienced Joiner to join our production team.
You will be responsible for bringing complex, luxury designs to life, ensuring that every joint, finish, and installation meets the exacting standards our high-net-worth clients expect.
This role involves a split between high-precision bench joinery within our Leeds factory and professional installation work on-site at project locations throughout the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Bespoke Manufacturing: Interpreting technical drawings to construct high-end furniture and joinery items.
- Material Expertise: Working with a diverse range of materials, including high-grade MDF, veneers, hardwoods, and integrated metal components.
- On-Site Installation: Travelling to project sites across the UK to perform high-quality installations, representing the Innovate brand with professionalism.
- Quality Control: Ensuring every project is completed to a luxury standard, from initial build to final site fit-out.
- Collaboration: Working closely with our CAD designers and workshop team to resolve technical challenges and ensure efficiency.
- Maintenance: Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment in both the factory and on-site.
Who You Are
- The Expert: You have at least 5 years of proven experience in joinery, with a background in high-end or bespoke furniture production.
- The Craftsman: You have an eye for detail and a passion for precision. You take pride in the finish and durability of your work.
- The Flexible Professional: You are comfortable working in a workshop environment and are happy to travel across the UK for site installations as required.
- The Problem Solver: You can read and interpret complex technical drawings and propose practical solutions when challenges arise on-site.
- Reliable: You hold yourself to high standards of timekeeping and workmanship.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional joinery experience.
- Skills: Strong bench joinery skills and experience with high-end furniture installation.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work on-site across the UK (a valid driving licence is preferred).
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with clients and other tradespeople while on-site.
