PandaFresh is a subsidiary of HungryPanda. It is an Asian grocery delivery company dedicated to serving overseas Chinese communities, operating both dark stores and retail shops.

We stock thousands of specialty products from China and across Asia, selling through the PandaFresh app and offline physical stores.

Job Overview

Industry & market match: The role requires in-depth knowledge of the UK meat & poultry market and supply chain dynamics. We are looking for a candidate who can immediately bring value and drive improvements to our procurement and supply chain function.

Communication & collaboration fit: For this cross-functional role, strong targeted communication, clarity, and collaborative alignment are critical, and we are seeking a candidate whose communication style more closely matches our team’s working needs.

Key Responsibilities

Take charge of end-to-end procurement management for fresh meat & poultry categories, and build the procurement system and supply chain process from scratch.
Source and maintain high-quality supplier resources, conduct business development and commercial negotiations, and ensure stable supply and cost advantages.
Formulate category selection and procurement plans, control costs, inventory and product quality to drive business growth.
Lead the establishment and management of the procurement team as the business scales up.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Marketing, International Trade, Supply Chain and Statistics are preferred.
A minimum of 3 years full-time procurement experience in fresh food and meat categories, with in-depth knowledge of the industry supply chain and supplier network.
Possess abundant existing supplier resources; outgoing and communicative, with strong BD sourcing and commercial negotiation skills.
Capable of data analysis and cost control; with basic knowledge of relevant legal and financial matters.
Sharp market insight, new product development ability, adaptability and independent working capability; strong logical thinking and excellent negotiation skills.
Down-to-earth and hands-on working style; comfortable with building business from zero to one, self-motivated, able to work under pressure, with clear potential for team management.
