Full job description

Job Overview
Waltham Chase Pre-School is looking for a reliable and practical Set Up and Pack Away Assistant to help prepare our setting each day and ensure everything is safely packed away at the end of each session. This is an important support role helping our team provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for children, staff and families.

What the role involves

Helping staff set up the pre-school before sessions and pack everything away afterwards
Ensuring toys, equipment and key areas are clean, tidy and safe
Supporting the team to maintain a safe environment for children, staff and visitors
Working reliably and punctually as part of the daily routine

We are looking for someone who is:

Reliable, punctual and organised
Able to work well as part of a team
Aware of health and safety responsibilities
Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality
Physically able to carry out set up and pack away duties

Hours and Working pattern:

8:00am - 9:00am
2:30pm - 3:30pm
Monday - Friday, Term time only
up to 10 hours a week*

*We encourage applicants to apply even if only some of the hours are of interest. We are willing to have this role split over 2 applicants if all days and hours are covered.

Contract: Employed by Waltham Chase Pre-School on a permanent contract. Probation period applies

Start date: As soon as possible

Location: Waltham Chase Pre-School, Waltham Chase Village Hall, SO32 2LX
