Join our team as a Welder based at Bottesford and play a key role in keeping our piling equipment and machinery operating safely and efficiently. You’ll be part of a skilled team delivering essential maintenance and repairs that keep projects moving.
What you'll be doing
As a Welder, you’ll support site operations by:
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance on piling rigs and equipment
- Diagnosing damage, wear and defects to extend equipment lifespan
- Applying hard facing and wear parts to improve durability
- Using plasma cutters and oxy/propane equipment to remove damaged sections
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to high quality standards
- Completing inspection and maintenance reports accurately and on time
- Reporting hazards, near misses and safety observations
- Working closely with maintenance and welding teams to plan ahead and minimise downtime
- Taking part in daily briefings and team communications
Who we're looking for
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven welding experience (including MIG and MMA)
- Experience working with heavy gauge steel / fabrications
- Competency using abrasive wheels and oxy/propane equipment
- Ability to interpret fabrication drawings
- Experience working with non-mechanical plant and equipment
- Basic IT skills
