Full job description

Location – Leek, Staffordshire

As a result of sustained commercial growth, Esterchem Ltd, a chemical manufacturer based in Leek, are seeking an Accounts Assistant to help support the finance function of the business.

THE ROLE - Part-Time, Permanent (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am -5pm)

Salary: Up to £28,000 per year pro rata

Job purpose:

Reporting directly to the Finance Director and working within a small team, this role is crucial in maintaining the smooth running of the financial side of the business.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Checking of delivery notes against purchase invoices and then posting to the ledger.

· Raising of sales invoices.

· Managing bank receipts and payments.

· Credit control.

· Product costings.

· Assisting in monthly management reporting.

Essential skills & knowledge

· Well organised with the ability to multi-task.

· AAT Qualified or ACCA/CIMA Part qualified.

· Attention to detail, accuracy is key.

· Ability to work well in a small team.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Two years accounts administration experience.

· Microsoft Office experience.

· ERP systems experience desirable but not essential.

Schedule:

Wednesday, Thursday & Friday – 9am - 5pm

Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
