Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting construction projects through manual labour, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are maintained throughout the process. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within the construction industry while contributing to diverse building projects.

Duties

Assisting with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
Carrying out manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials as directed by supervisors
Assisting with the installation of structures, fixtures, and fittings under supervision
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety compliance
Supporting team members with specialised tasks such as mixing concrete or operating basic tools when trained
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times to minimise risks on site
Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials from lorries or storage areas

Skills

Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour over extended periods
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to construction sites
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as required
Prior experience in construction or related trades is advantageous but not essential
Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting materials or equipment between sites
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are beneficial for maintaining safety standards and quality work
