The Role:
Ramair Filters is a leading air filtration company based in Oare, Wiltshire, UK. We are looking for a new member of the team to be part of our dynamic design and manufacturing environment. You will be working closely with both our research and development and production teams to design new products while also maintaining the existing range through ongoing efficiencies and production improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Following a development brief, quickly communicate ideas through a combination of sketches, 3D models and working prototypes to evaluate potential new products and solutions.
· Use Solidworks software to produce accurate, manufacturable parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings for use throughout the business.
· Ensure that all product and production documentation is correct and up to date including BOM’s, SOP’s and instructions.
· Design and oversee production of jigs and fixtures, providing creative solutions to improve production line efficiencies.
· Hands on prototyping of new products and processes

Person Specification:
Essential
· Industrial Design, Product Design or Mechanical Engineering experience
· Familiar with Solidworks software
· Ability to produce clear and informative production drawings and technical information
· Excellent organisational and planning skills
· Ability to effectively prioritise workload to complete tasks under pressure and meet deadlines
· Excellent communication skills in person, over the phone and via email
· Comfortable working in team environments across multiple departments and in self-guided unsupervised situations.
Desirable
· Familiar with sheetmetal design and fabrication techniques
· Photorealistic rendering experience
Salary: £26,000 - £32,500 negotiable based on a full time 40hr working week
