Role Purpose
To own the end-to-end preparation of client advice cases, with a primary focus on:
- Ensuring high-quality, complete fact finds
- Producing clear, compliant suitability letters
- Leveraging AI for report writing
This role sits at the centre of the advice process—bridging client data, analysis, and high-quality output using AI report writing software.
Core Responsibilities
1. Fact Find Review, Completion & Data Integrity (Primary Focus)
- Take ownership of fact find accuracy, completeness and structure
- Input, cleanse and validate client data within the fact find and CRM system
- Engage with advisers to fill gaps and challenge incomplete or unclear information
- Ensure all data collected supports robust, compliant advice
2. AI-Enabled Report Writing & Process Efficiency
- Use AI tools to draft, structure and enhance suitability reports and client communications for:
- Retirement Advice
- Investment Advice
- Protection Advice
- Ongoing/Review Advice
- Convert structured fact find data into first-draft reports using AI workflows
- Refine and quality check AI-generated outputs to ensure:
- Accuracy
- Compliance
- Tone aligned to Navigation brand
- Continuously improve how AI is used to:
- Reduce turnaround times
- Improve consistency
- Increase team capacity
4. Adviser Interaction
- Act as a key point of contact for:
- Gathering missing information
- Clarifying client circumstances
- Supporting advisers in case preparation
- Maintain high standards of communication and service
5. Compliance, Accuracy & Documentation
- Ensure all documentation is:
- Complete
- Accurate
- Audit-ready
- Maintain strong understanding of compliance processes and requirements
- Escalate any risks or inconsistencies immediately
Key Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience in financial services
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex data
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to translate technical content into client-friendly language
- Strong organisation and workflow management
Highly Desirable
- Experience writing suitability letters / reports
- Understanding of financial services products and planning
- Experience using CRM systems
- Experience or interest in using AI tools in professional workflows
