Warehouse Operative

We’re looking for a driven and dynamic Warehouse Operative/ Driver to contribute to our continued success.

The role is based at our site in Belfast

The Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your role will be varied, and you will be required to work within all areas of the warehouse and to make deliveries to customers.

Key Tasks

Making deliveries to point of use with NI & ROI customers.
Picking and packing orders
Moving stock around by hand or a forklift truck
Checking for damaged or missing items
Loading goods for dispatch
Storing goods
Keeping records of stock
Keeping paperwork up to date
Taking delivery of goods and supplies

Although the core hours are Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 and Friday 08:00 - 15:45, you must have a flexible attitude to the start & finish times to suit the business needs & be able to work overtime at short notice.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role, you must have previous warehouse experience and a valid driver’s licence. A forklift licence would be an advantage. The candidate must understand the importance of working as part of a team but also have the motivation and initiative to work alone at times in order to get the job done.

The ideal candidate will be used to working to deadlines in a very busy environment and can think on their feet. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate flexibility in their approach and be able to prioritise and remain focused at all times as accuracy is paramount to this role.

25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays. The business does observe a Christmas shutdown period and a maximum of 4 days will be deducted from employees annual leave entitlement.
