Role: Clinical Trainer
Pay: £31,000 per annum
Location: Barlborough, S43
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, including weekends and evenings as required
About the Role
Are you passionate about developing others and promoting high standards of care? Josh’s Care Company is looking for a Clinical Trainer to join our growing team.
As a Clinical Trainer, you will play a key role in delivering specialist complex care training, supporting competency development, and undertaking rotational on-call duties to support safe and effective service delivery across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver training sessions to new and existing staff in line with company standards and compliance requirements. Support staff competency assessments and provide practical guidance within care settings.
Work closely with management and care teams to identify training needs and support staff development. Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Assist in promoting a positive learning culture across the organisation. Support weekend and evening operations as part of a flexible work schedule when required.
Participate in rotational on-call duties to support service delivery and operational continuity. Contribute to the continuous improvement of training materials and delivery methods.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a care or support role is essential. Experience delivering training or mentoring staff is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate learners with different levels of experience.
Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities effectively. A strong understanding of person-centred care and promoting independence.
Flexible availability to work weekends and evenings when required. A positive, hands-on, and solution-focused mindset.

Please note: Previous care experience is required for this role, as there may be occasions where you are needed to personally cover a care shift to ensure continuity of service, particularly when on-call.
