Property Manager (12-Month Maternity Cover)

Full Time | £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Thoresby Estate is looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Property Manager to join the team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This varied role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties, alongside the Estate's holiday let accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Estate's residential and commercial property portfolio.
- Act as the main point of contact for tenants, contractors and prospective tenants.
- Arrange viewings, tenant sign-ups, tenancy documentation and deposit protection.
- Coordinate inspections, maintenance and compliance requirements.
- Oversee holiday let bookings, guest communications and property changeovers.
- Manage booking systems to maximise occupancy and support the marketing of holiday accommodation.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare documentation and provide administrative support across the Estate.
- Deliver excellent customer service to tenants, guests and visitors.
- Participate in an out-of-hours rota for property and holiday let issues.
About YouEssential
- Experience in property management, lettings or a similar property-related role.
- Strong communication, organisational and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of current landlord and tenant legislation and residential lettings compliance.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and property management software (ideally KeyPrime).
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable
- Experience managing holiday let accommodation.
- Familiarity with booking platforms, guest communications and online reviews.
- Experience with social media marketing and Canva.
