Full job description

Commercial Gas Engineer

Location : Folkestone & Hythe ( LOCAL KENT WORK )

Benefits Package:

Basic salary from £48,000 - £ £55,471.00 (depending on experience)
42.5 hour working week
Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm
On call 1 in 6 days OR 1 in 4 weeks (discussed at interview)
On call rates paid at x2 + door to door pay
Bonus scheme based on company profit 2-8% of basic salary
Holiday allowance: 25 days + bank holidays

We are a well-established organisation delivering integrated engineering and property maintenance services across the UK. With over 50 years of industry experience, we have built a strong reputation for supporting public sector organisations, housing associations, and commercial clients. Operating primarily across London and the South East, we specialise in maintaining and improving residential and commercial properties which include libraries, civic centres, office blocks and schools

Key Responsibilities:

· Servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial gas and plumbing systems.

· Diagnose and repair faults on boilers, heating systems, and associated pipework.

· Undertake reactive and planned maintenance (PPM) tasks in commercial environments.

· Ensure all works comply with Gas Safe, Health & Safety, and environmental regulations.

· Work effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure high service standards and efficient

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

· Domestic Gas qualification (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1)

· Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1A, TPCP1,ICPN1 )

· Minimum 5 years recent experience working on Commercial Gas Equipment

· Driver’s Licence

· Enhances DBS check
