We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our accounts team at WW Martin.

The Role
To be successful in this role you need to have a flexible, proactive approach to your work. This is a varied position, which requires the successful candidate to carry out various account’s tasks, and therefore requires excellent organisation skills.
To work as part of the Accounts Department and assist with the purchase ledger process, from analysing invoices through to reconciliation of supplier accounts.
The main duties will include matching and coding invoices, preparing and processing a monthly payment run, reconciling supplier statements and providing accurate financial information to the Head of Finance.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
· Matching, checking, and coding a high volume of invoices
· Setting up of new supplier accounts ad maintaining the existing account details
· Reconciliation of supplier statements
· Allocation of supplier account
· Data entry
· Filing invoices
· Point of contact for all relevant enquiries/queries
· Maintaining a strong relationship with suppliers
· Preparing a monthly payment run
· Providing information to the Head of Finance
