Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial properties, contributing to the aesthetic enhancement and protection of buildings. A strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a professional attitude are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling imperfections before painting or decorating
Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes with precision and care
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard within agreed timeframes
Protecting surrounding areas by covering floors and furniture during work
Maintaining tools and equipment in excellent condition
Communicating effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during operations

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating techniques
Ability to operate various painting tools and equipment efficiently
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
Valid driving licence is desirable for travelling between sites
Excellent colour perception and attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From £140.00 per day

Work Location: On the road
