Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Despatch & Customer Services Administrator to join our team. This is a fast-paced role within a busy office and manufacturing environment, requiring a high level of accuracy, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are shipped on time, documentation is completed accurately and customer enquiries are handled professionally
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce Certificates of Conformity, packing lists and product labels
- Arrange UK and international shipments using approved courier services
- Monitor and manage communications, ensuring all requests are processed promptly
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues where required
- Process documentation relating to customer returns and non-conforming products
- Maintain accurate shipping and customer records
- Support compliance with customer, quality and traceability requirements
Essential Skills & Qualifications :
- Previous experience within an administrative, logistics, despatch or customer service environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- A proactive approach to tasks with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with quality management systems, ideally AS9100 or ISO 9001
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
