Spirit planner Work, Jobs in Dufftown, Sct (with Salaries)

Develop and manage short to medium term plans for fillings, mature spirit tipping and warehousing at Dufftown, aligned to quality standards and planning timelines.
Build integrated plans across Warehouse 6 & 8, the Dufftown vat hall and Arete supply, balancing demand with operational constraints.
Coordinate vat hall activity and weekly tanker/cask movements, ensuring clear priorities and deliverable schedules.
Deliver consistent plans through the weekly planning cycle, using KPIs to minimise late change and improve stability.
Identify and manage constraints (spirit availability, capacity, wood supply and budget), proactively resolving risks and protecting plan delivery.
Manage vat levels and overall utilisation to maintain balance across the supply operation.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate inputs, strong collaboration and shared accountability for performance.
Lead regular reviews to track delivery, manage exceptions and ensure schedule adherence.
Monitor performance against budget, highlighting risks and opportunities and recommending adjustments as needed.
Support continuous improvement and stakeholder feedback activity to enhance service, compliance and efficiency.
Provide cover and support to the Planning Team Leader across planning forums, projects and improvement initiatives.

Experience in production / supply / operational planning in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
Confidence working across multiple stakeholders, influencing decisions and resolving competing priorities.
Strong analytical skills & comfortable using data to build plans, spot trends, and manage risk.
A structured approach to planning cadence (daily/weekly drumbeats), action tracking and KPI delivery.
Clear communication skills & able to turn complexity into practical, executable plans.
A continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on stability, compliance and customer service.
