We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Orthodontic Receptionist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced receptionist or customer service professional who enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy healthcare setting. The role is primarily based in Farnham, with occasional support required at our Godalming and Cranleigh practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and professional welcome to patients and visitors.
- Manage patient appointments, diary scheduling, and check-in procedures.
- Handle incoming telephone calls and respond to patient enquiries regarding treatments and services.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records.
- Process payments and assist with billing and administrative tasks.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area and practice administration.
- Work closely with clinicians and the wider team to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
- Ensure reception and waiting areas remain organised, professional, and welcoming at all times.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous receptionist, administration, or customer service experience within a busy environment essential and NOT Negotiable
- Live within a 15 mile radius of Farnham
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A professional, approachable, and patient-focused manner.
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
- Strong IT skills; experience with dental software would be advantageous.

Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Occasional participation in a rotating shift pattern on a Friday (11:00am – 6:00pm) may be required.
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) required.
