We are now seeking a dedicated, hard-working Accounts Receivable Controller to join our team in Portadown.
The Role
The Accounts Assistant role is to ensure the smooth running of the finance function. The job holder will be an essential part of a team providing administrative support to senior accounts.
Daily duties will include managing credit control for sales and purchases, reconciling nominal ledgers, collating and logging all invoices onto the accounts IT system to ensure prompt payment, handling banking tasks such as bank reconciliations and lodgements, managing the receipt and handling of all cash, and performing general administrative duties such as opening, sorting, and distributing post.
The person
The essential criteria include the following:

Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role

Ability to process information accurately and efficiently
-
Daily maintenance of the sales ledger and banking transactions
-
Reconciling nominal ledgers with accurate detail weekly.

Finalise nominal ledgers by the 10th month to allow for the Group Balance Sheet Review.

Carry out monthly payments through system

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
-
Excellent organisational skills
-
Ability to work as part of a team

Computer Literacy
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft packages, in particular Excel
-
Previous working experience with a Accounts computerised system
Preference will be given to those applicants holding or working towards a relevant qualification, ideally IATI-qualified; previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry; and working knowledge of the Keyloop computerised system.
