We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas.
- Oversee food production, ensuring dishes are prepared to high standards and served promptly.
- Manage food preparation processes, maintaining consistency and quality across all menu items.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards throughout the restaurant.
- Assist in training new staff members and providing ongoing support to team members.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory efficiently.
- Support management in planning shifts, scheduling staff, and maintaining operational efficiency.
- Promote a welcoming atmosphere that encourages teamwork and excellent service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, serving, or food preparation within a restaurant setting.
- Previous management or supervising experience in hospitality or culinary environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and organise a team effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality environments.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including kitchen management and customer service protocols.
- Experience with barista duties is desirable but not essential.
